Poland's Law and Justice to have parliamentary majority

The conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party will hold a majority in the lower house of the Polish parliament, according to the State Electoral Commission.

PiS won Sunday's general elections with a result of 37.58 percent, the electoral authority (PKW) said.
The liberal Civic Platform managed 24.09 percent, the Kukiz'15 grouping 8.81 percent, Nowoczesna 7.60 percent, while the Polish People's Party (PSL) managed 5.13 percent.
No leftist party will be part of the Polish parliament in the coming term. (rg/rk)
