Support for the ruling conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party has fallen slightly but the party is still well ahead of the opposition, a new survey has found.

Backing for PiS has fallen to 29 percent from 32 percent in February, according to the poll by Millward Brown for private broadcaster TVN.
Commentators noted that result would mean PiS would win a general election but would not have enough votes to govern alone, as it does at present.
The business-friendly Nowoczesna grouping is in second place, with support at 18 percent, down from 22 percent in February.
Support for the Civic Platform (PO), which led a coalition government for eight years before being trounced by PiS in October’s general elections, has stayed unchanged at 17 percent.
According to the poll, the Kukiz' 15 grouping – led by veteran rock star Paweł Kukiz – is on 10 percent, up from 8 percent.
According to the poll, three other groups would cross the five-percent backing threshold needed to make it into parliament: the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) on 6 percent, the right wing KORWiN and the left wing Razem (Together) grouping, both on five percent. (pk)
