The opposition Civic Platform (PO) party is way behind, on 22.2 percent, the survey found.
The anti-establishment Kukiz’15 group is third on 9.1 percent, and the Nowoczesna (Modern) party is fourth on 8.4 percent, according to the survey, which was published by the Do Rzeczy.pl website.
The rural-based Polish People’s Party (PSL) would also make it into the Sejm, the lower house of parliament, on 5.8 percent, followed by the left-wing Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) with 5.4 percent. This last party is now outside parliament.
The poll found no other parties would clear the 5 percent support threshold needed to enter parliament.
The survey was conducted on October 26-27 on a representative sample of 1,192 adult respondents. (gs/pk)
