The printed press is the second-most trusted source of information, followed by television, the wirtualnemedia.pl website has reported, citing European Commission data.
Meanwhile, Poles tend to have limited trust in internet media compared with traditional sources of news, the website said, quoting the findings of a recent survey that was carried out across the European Union.
Sixty-six percent of those responding to the survey in Poland described radio as a reliable source of news, wirtualnemedia.pl said, while 55 percent said they trusted the press and 54 percent listed television.
Forty-five percent of those surveyed said they trusted news published by online services, and 34 percent said they trusted content published on social media.
In the 28-nation bloc as a whole, only 26 percent of respondents said social media and mobile applications were a reliable source of information, wirtualnemedia.pl said.
