Officers will be paying special attention to the speed at which vehicles travel during the holiday period, according to Radosław Kobryś from the National Police Headquarters.
Traffic police will also be checking to make sure drivers are sober and that their cars are in good condition, Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The "Safe Easter 2018" road safety campaign runs until Monday, when many Poles will be returning home from the holiday break.
