Thousands of Polish high school students take final exams

Some 272,000 teenagers in Poland started their high school finishing exams with a Polish test on Friday.

Students must attempt at least four exams: Polish, mathematics, a foreign language and one additional elective subject, such as biology, chemistry, physics, history, civic studies, advanced Polish and advanced mathematics.
The last written exams will be held on May 23, while oral exams end on May 25. Results will be announced on July 3. (vb)
