The ruling Civic Platform has lost eight percent support after PM Donald Tusk's policy speech to parliament last week, shows a new poll.
The survey by TNS OBOP finds that Civic Platform, the winner of October's general election, is now on 34 percent support, down eight percent compared to a similar poll in October.
Tusk's 'expose' speech laying out the government's goals for the next four years included raising the retirement age for both men and women to 67 years of age, a rise in insurance payments for some workers and employers and a cut in child support payments for the better off.
The opposition Law and Justice party is on 24 percent, up two percent. The Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) is on 9 percent, the liberal Palikot Movement has 8 percent support and the Polish Peasant's Party (PSL), the junior partner in the ruling coalition, is on 5 percent.
The survey was conducted between 17 and 20 November from a sample of 981. (pg)
