A festival built around the story of a WW2 rescue
The town of Kępno which lies in-between Łódź and Wrocław celebrates its three cultures: Roman-Catholic, Protestant and Jewish, and remembers a little Jewish girl rescued in wartime by a local man. Later a renowned dancer in Israel, she is coming back to Kępno for the festival, as Mateusz Wiśniewski tells Elżbieta Krajewska.
The festival in Kępno takes place on August 25-27.
