Emmanuel Macron embarked Wednesday on a three-day diplomatic blitz through Central and Eastern Europe to drum up support for his plan to overhaul the so-called Posted Workers Directive. It allows companies to send temporary workers from low-wage countries to other EU member states without paying local social charges. As Michał Owczarek reports, Poland has repeatedly criticized the proposed reform.
"These proposals hit Poland’s international transport sector - the largest, best managed and leading business across Europe," Poland’s Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk said.
