Poland has lost 0:3 to Serbia at Warsaw's National Stadium in their first match of the European Volleyball Championships, which started in Poland on Thursday.

The country's loss was especially painful to Poles, who were hoping for a repeat of the opening match of the last Volleyball World Championships, in which Poland beat Serbia 3:0 at the same venue nearly three years ago.
